Responsibilities:
Pre & Post Sales product support/education for syndication partners
Customer requirements gathering and the willingness to represent a customer's point of view on the suite of products we offer.
Contribute to and inform product definition, business development strategy and pricing models for syndication
Day-to-day execution of partner product strategy, with a focus on IP video infrastructure &IP Video consumer products like cloud DVR , Video On Demand,
Collaboration with engineers and developers through implementation phase to realize product vision for syndication partners.
Release planning and management for syndication partners including communications.
Understanding and evangelism of Cost model and competitive landscape
Experience:
Minimum
At least a 5 year track record of delivering multi-platform digital experiences, defining product requirements, managing engineering cycles and collaborating with stakeholders, customers & executives.
Three or more years of data, media processing and networking technology development.
Experience with large project teams in matrix organization is desirable.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external business partners.
Strong presentation and communication skills to explain system designs and technologies to senior leadership
Experience in a high volume, fast paced Agile software development environment
Demonstrated ability to work confidently with Business Development, Program Management, Product Management, Design & UX, Engineering, QA & Leadership Teams
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Possess ability to think conceptually about product and technical design
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
New product development experience in an environment, which used a formal lifecycle methodology.
Bonuspoints
Knowledge of adaptive bit-rate technology, Multicast delivery, as well as traditional video delivery mechanisms and video on demand.
Experience with video processing, ad-insertion, content management or video delivery.
Education
College degree with an emphasis in technology preferred or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytical skills and experience.
