You will work with a highly collaborative team in an Agile environment embracing a fail-fast mentality (fail fast, fail often, react quickly and learn from every failure). You will engage with Product Owners, Technology Architects, QA and/or Automation team members on cross-functional activities to design, develop, and test cutting-edge software solutions. You will work in a development environment coaching, facilitating, and being a servant leader for one or more Scrum teams.

You will look for ways the team can improve, and you will encourage growth through cultivating strong relationships and trust. The Scrum Master owns the work process for the team and creates balance with the Product Owner and the Technical Architect by taking responsibility for sprint capacity, status, reporting (burn up/burn down), and risk management. Foremost, you will demonstrate servant leadership by ensuring the scrum team has the resources they need, are shielded from distractions and interruptions, and works to remove impediments along the way.

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

External Additional Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline

* 2-6 years of related work experience

* 2+ years of hands on industry experience

* Basic hands on experience with Object-Oriented Programming

* Helps teams self-organize and self-manage

* Strong facilitation skills in leading, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

* Communicates clearly and can deliver complex messages and teach new concepts

External Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence.

* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

* Enjoys solving problems and can resolve conflicts through strong mediation skills

* Proficiency in the SAFe framework

* Willing and able to perform software development work if necessary.

* Knowledge of software development practices including CI/CD and Test Driven Development (TDD)
